It seemed when my children were small, that time passed so slowly,
but now that they are grown, it seems as if it passed in a flash.
I wish I could go back and live it all over again, knowing what I know
now, so that I could treasure every second, and commit it to memory
and do some things differently. I actually miss my children, although
they still live close to me and I see them often. Looking at this
picture of when they were small.......I feel so sad and lost....
if only I could have.........what? I don't know, but if only...............

The parrotlet

My new baby, name Cherokee. Birthday present so he is almost 3 months old, and already has a large vocabulary, for one his age. He says, his name, Cherokee, pretty bird, good boy, bob white, step up, sweet sweet, kiss kiss and makes the sounds, pretty, pretty, pretty, lov you....that's all I recognize right now. He can learn up to 100 or more words and phrases.

He is a parrotlet, very small, but has all the personality and intelligence of a parrot, only softer voice and does not screech. The perfect bird for an apartment because he is quiet.

Simply solutions

This is funny and it takes a cartoon character to tell the truth as she
sees it!

Everyone concentrates on the problems we're having in this country lately:
illegal immigration, hurricane recovery, alligators attacking people in
Florida.

Not me. I concentrate on solutions for the problems. It's a win-win
situation.

+ Dig a moat the length of the Mexican border.

+ Send the dirt to New Orleans to raise the level of the levies.

+ Put the Florida alligators in the moat along the Mexican border.

Any other problems you would like for me to solve today ? Yes!
Think about this one:

1. Cows
2. The Constitution
3. The Ten Commandments
C O W S
Is it just me, or does anyone else find it amazing that during the mad
cow epidemic our government could track a single cow, born in Canada
almost three years ago, right to the stall where she slept in the state
of Washington? And, they tracked her calves to their stalls. But they are
unable to locate 11 million illegal aliens wandering around our country.
Maybe we should give each of them a cow.

T H E C O N S T I T U T I O N
They keep talking about drafting a Constitution for Iraq . Why don't we
just give them ours? It was written by a lot of really smart guys, it
has worked for over 200 years, and we're not using it anymore.

The real reason that we can't have the Ten Commandments posted in a
courthouse is this: You cannot post 'Thou Shalt Not Steal,' 'Thou Shalt
Not Commit Adultery,' and 'Thou Shall Not Lie' in a building full of
lawyers, judges and politicians...It creates a hostile work environment.
PART OF THE PROBLEM
Also, Think about this: If you don't want to forward this for fear of
offending someone-- YOU ARE PART OF THE PROBLEM!

It is Time for America to Speak up!
Yep, I passed it on!

The media warlords and their puppets...

This is my blog and there is still freedom of speech, however, the media is choosing to edit what they speak. They show only what they want us to see, and distort and hide what they do not want us to see. In other words, the media is choosing what they want Americans to know, I think that used to be called brainwashing.

They are not even sly or artful with this tactic, they are bold, obvious and unashamed. They use double talk, flip-flop and flat out lies to forcible indoctrinate
those, who are too simple minded to see the truth, into their way of thinking, and believing. ABC is the worse. I think it stands for Anything But Character.

God help America to see the truth and open the eyes of the simple to see, and their ears to hear and their hearts to understand. Let all that is hidden be revealed and those who are a party to this outrageous misuse of their position be found out and cast out. In Jesus' Name amen!

A message of truth to Obama about Iraq

Hear ye, hear ye: This man has earned the right to be heard!

Freedom is not without a price.

Many wars have been fought for our freedom;
suppose someone had given up just before the victory was won for us.

We take our freedom for granted, we should be thankful everyday for
what we have here in the U.S., and we should pray every day
for the freedom of others in the world.

If you are not thankful for what you have here, go look and see
how others live...do they not have the right to live free of fear,
oppression and sickness and poverty?

Ladies, if our mothers before us, had not stood up and fought for us,
we would still not be allowed to vote, or hold jobs or be paid a reasonable
wage or many other barbarisms women even in this country have
suffered in the past. And that 'war' is not yet completely won, we are still
fighting for equal pay, and treatment on the job and even in the home.

The women in other countries have the right to be free, to be treated as
people and not possessions, or used as slaves, and so many other atrocities
put upon them.

About Me

I was told I have fibromyalgia, I am in constant pain, with stiffness, and sleep disorder. I also have PTSD. I have been married to a wonderful man for 3 years now. We are best friends, our marriage is heaven on earth. He loves me unconditionally. I love him with all my heart.
